Highway Jam are a South African blues-rock/jazz-fusion group featuring Durban born surfer/muso Mike Meiring (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Reuben Samuels (drums) and Tyler Meiring (bass guitar. Crystal Park play alternative country music. they are a fun, vibrant live band who perform their own compositions. To date they have released 2 albums, namely "City of Lakes" and " The Stables Fade". Albert Frost is a familiar and respected feature of the South African blues-rock music scene. His first love is blues, stemming from the influence of his long relationship with The Blues Broers with whom he has performed since 1994. For the past two decades the energetic performances of this very accomplished guitarist have dazzled audiences as he alternates between rhythm and lead, while showcasing acoustic and electric guitars. Albert has performed with every major artist in South Africa and he has toured with Simple Minds, REM and supported The Rolling Stones. April 2016 saw the release of his third album "The Wake Up". Cindy Alter (Ex Clout) is a legendary South African singer, songwriter who continues to thrill her audiences where ever she performs. Having been part of The Alter Irving Band for over 8 years Cindy is now performing as a solo artist with fellow musicians as her backing band. Piet Botha and his band Jack Hammer have been performing for over 30 years. Piet is a true South African Rock Music Legend who's songwriting and unique guitar playing style are among the very best in our country. This will be Jack Hammer's first Radium show of 2018, they seldom perform in Jo'burg as Piet lives in The Cape so be sure not to miss them live this time at Radium. They have released several albums over many years, their latest being "Handful of Rain". Piet's busy recording a new Afrikaans album with his band, due for release early this year. Singer, songwriter Neill Solomon will be performing with top South African musicians for his Radium show, namely Dan Chiorboli, percussion, Connie Bentlage, saxophone, Mauritz Lotz, guitar, and Peps Cotumuccio, vocals, keyboards, guitar. South Africa's favourite female singer, songwriter, Laurie Levine, performs at The Radium for the first time in 2018. Laurie, who has released five albums to date, released her latest album "Canyons" towards the end of last year. Having released and launched her album in Jo'burg and Cape Town, Laurie backed up the release by performing in these cities to promote her "Canyons" cd. She's always well supported by her fans where ever she performs. The Reckoning feature four very accomplished, professional musicians, namely Stewart Irving, Peps Cotumaccio, Mike Pepper and Luke Shaw. Stewart, who was the front man for Ballyhoo for 10 years, also enjoyed success with his two big hits "Superstar" and "Heart of Stone". Peps is a talented guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist who has been an active musician for the last 35 years in SA and abroad. He has collaborated with many musicians, amongst others Johnny Clegg, Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse, Neill Solomon, Mark Alex, Ed Jordan and P.J. Powers. Mike has performed with bands like Charles G & John T, Sound Thunder and The Alter Irving Band. He is a multi-instrumentalist and like Peps he brings vocals and guitar to The Reckoning. Leon Shaw, who played with popular SA band Mean MR. Mustard and The Alter Irving Band, plays drums for this exciting band.
